If you have had your Pennsylvania driver’s license suspended, your status will fall into one or more of the following categories:
TERM SUSPENSION – If you are issued a term suspension, there is a set period of time involved for the suspension, such as six months or more. These types of driver’s license suspensions often are the result of several tickets which have piled up over time, or more serious offenses such as driving on a suspended license. In these cases, you will want to accelerate your legal actions so that you can get your license restored as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the more difficult it will be to restore your driving privileges. We may be able to help by appealing the underlying citation, with the goal of shortening or eliminating the suspension altogether.
INDEFINITE SUSPENSION – If you are issued an indefinite suspension, this likely means that you failed to respond to or pay the balance on a traffic citation. Your driving privileges will not be restored until you take action to lift this type of suspension. But you cannot do this alone. You need attorneys with credibility who have experience to handle these sorts of cases.
It is important to note that when you are working on license restoration, you have 30 days to appeal the conviction or the suspension before it is set in stone. For this reason, it is so important to act quickly. If you miss the 30 day deadline to appeal, our attorneys can still fight to overturn your conviction by filing a nunc pro tunc appeal. This is an appeal that can be filed at any point after the 30 day deadline. Attorney Enrique Latoison has filed nunc pro tunc appeals and been successful in overturning convictions dating back over 10 years.

STEPS YOU SHOULD TAKE NOW
The important thing is not to wait any longer to do something about your suspended license. The longer you wait after a decision is made, the harder it may be to reverse or shorten the suspension.
STEP ONE
The first step you should take is to obtain a letter known as the “Restoration Requirements Letter” from PennDot. This letter is a legal document which outlines all of your requirements you must meet in order to restore your ability to drive freely. Our attorneys will assist you in obtaining that information. You will need to supply your name, driver’s license number, date of birth, and the last four digits of your social security number.
STEP TWO
Call our office. and let us review the restoration requirements letter so we can find out exactly what needs to be done in your particular case to get your license restored. This process must be done correctly, or you risk further delaying your Pennsylvania license suspension restoration. We have many years’ experience dealing with these issues, and we can advise you on what to do as you proceed. Then we will be a willing ear and consultant to help you through the rest of the process, based on our knowledge of how the courts work, and the necessary legal processes you have to go through.
SURRENDERING YOUR LICENSE
You will need to surrender your license or mail a DL-16 Form to PennDot at the following address: P.O. Box 68693, Harrisburg, PA 17106-8693. Send your license via certified mail, on an attorney’s letterhead, for proof of delivery. You MUST surrender your license and acknowledge your suspension, even if you do not plan to appeal it, or you may not get credit for time served.
Forms for surrendering your license may be found HERE.
A FINAL REMINDER
Remember, if you act soon, you may not need to surrender your Pennsylvania drivers license at all. If you file an appeal within a reasonable time of the suspension, you may succeed in postponing the suspension, which may buy you some time to sort out what the next steps should be.

Laura did a outstanding job pursuing my innocents in my traffic case. I would definitely refer her to other clients and if I ever need a attorney shes is definitely ny first choice.
Enrique was a very good lawyer he represented me well and I got the results I wanted every time I hired him to represent me legally. Enrique was very on point in trial, and made sure to hit every detail in my case multiple times to prove my innocence. He was very well spoken and he carried him self in a great manner . Enrique has a goal every time in the court room and from what I saw with me he met it every time, he even had the police department fumbling their words and asking can you repeat the question. I was highly satisfied with his service. .I highly recommend him for any criminal defense you may need.
Posted by John, a Criminal Defense clientYou definitely get your money’s worth , when I got arrested , many people recommended many lawyers , Enrique happened to be one that was strongly recommended by one of his current clients who loved his work. He was not there to take my money, he told me all possible outcomes and helped me make the best possible decisions. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a lawyer.
Posted by Catherine, a Criminal Defense clientI’ve used Enrique’s law firm for a high speed traffic ticket and recommended him to many family and friends. I walked away from court with a small fine when I was expecting to lose my license. I have come to the realization that it benefits you if you have a trustworthy and knowledgeable lawyer on your side. Enrique and his firm are very well known respected- I will only use this firm for all of my legal needs.
